Hendy Group offering converted Ford camper vans

The Terrier from Wellhouse is now being stocked by Hendy Camper Vans, based on the south coast of England. The  motorhome, adapted by conversion company Wellhouse Leisure, is designed to appeal to seasoned campervanners and newcomers alike with its blend of Ford Transit reliability and well-considered campervan touches.

"We're delighted to be offering our customers unprecedented access to these already popular Ford motorhomes," said Hendy Managing Director Paul Hendy. "Wellhouse has done a fantastic job transforming the trustworthy Transit into a desirable and dependable campervan and we have trained specialists on hand to guide buyers through all the options.

"The Transit Custom base means the Terrier is easy to manoeuvre - as simple to drive as a car - but with enough space inside for a family day out or overnight adventure.

"Wellhouse has optimised the Ford's ample space with a comfortable double bed, full fitted kitchen and impressive storage area with plenty of room to walk around."

The passenger-carrying short wheel base Custom Kombi is packed with features for comfort and safety - including cruise control, DAB radio with multi-function display, 8-way heated swivel cab seats with arm rest, leather wrapped adjustable steering wheel, rain sensing wipers and Bluetooth.

It has seating for five and a clever sliding rear seat system, providing an option to maximise storage or living space to suit any activity.

The Ford campervan is also styled for performance and durability, with a 123bhp, 2.2-litre Euro 5, TDCi diesel engine and six-speed manual gearbox. The Terrier features auto stop-start technology and smart regenerative fuel saving charging system, plus hill start assist for ultimate driving comfort and control in environments where motorhomes may otherwise struggle.
